How to make a request

1. Email us from the address used to sign in to Joy Clean.

   Send to kui23jin88@gmail.com with the subject “Joy Clean account and data deletion”. If you cannot use that address, explain this so we can discuss an alternative verification method.

2. Tell us what you want deleted.

   Ask to delete your Joy Clean account and associated personal data, or specify the particular data you want removed without closing the account.

3. Check your inbox for our response.

   We may ask for limited information to verify ownership. We normally respond and, once ownership is verified, delete account-linked data from systems we control and initiate provider deletion within 30 days of receiving your request, or sooner where required by law. We explain any verification delay, legally permitted extension, or necessary retention exception and confirm the outcome.

Never send your Google password or a verification code. A request does not need a copy of your private photos or files.

What deletion covers

An account deletion request covers your Joy Clean account, the associated Firebase Authentication user record, and associated personal information in systems managed by Happy old boy, except information that must be retained for a permitted reason.

We will remove account-linked personal data from systems we control and submit deletion requests to the applicable service providers. Some technical records use installation or other pseudonymous identifiers instead of your email address; we may need additional information to locate them. Statistics that have been aggregated so that they no longer identify you may remain.

Deleting your account ends access to account-based features. Only request deletion once you have saved any information you want to keep.

What may be retained

Limited information may need to be retained to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or record that a deletion request was fulfilled. Such information is retained only for the applicable purpose and period, with restricted use. Support correspondence, including deletion correspondence, is kept for up to 12 months after resolution unless a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires longer retention. You can request earlier deletion of correspondence.

Deletion from backups can take longer than deletion from active systems. Firebase documents a period of up to 180 days to remove authentication data from live and backup systems after deletion is initiated by the developer. Any provider-specific processing or necessary retention relevant to your request will be explained where applicable.

A few important distinctions

• Uninstalling is not account deletion. Uninstalling removes the app from your device but does not instruct us to delete a server-side account.
• Your Google account stays yours. Deleting your Joy Clean account does not delete your Google account, Gmail, Google Photos, or unrelated Google service data.
• Removing a Google connection is separate. You can review connections in your Google Account settings. Revoking access alone does not send a Joy Clean deletion request.
• Device files are separate. Account deletion is not a request to erase photos or files stored on your device. Likewise, this process cannot restore files removed during cleaning.
